As we close out this week’s study on beauty, let’s take a moment to reflect on what we’ve learned. True beauty isn’t about outward appearance, but about the image we reflect. The image of God. It’s found in the way we carry ourselves, in our humility, in a gentle and quiet spirit that comes from within.

We’ve seen that beauty isn’t something we manufacture, but something we cultivate by walking in reverence for the Lord. It’s a light that shines through our character, our actions, and our faith. The world tells us beauty fades, but God reminds us that the beauty of a woman who fears the Lord is eternal.

1 Samuel 16:7 reminds us of this truth: "But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for…

As we have discussed, beauty is often measured by outward appearance, but God’s Word reminds us that true beauty goes much deeper. We live in a world dominated by social media, which glorifies flawless skin, trendy outfits, and picture-perfect moments, but 1 Peter 3:3 tells us, "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes."

This doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy looking nice, but it challenges us to shift our focus. External beauty fades, but eternal beauty lasts forever. Ask yourself today, are you investing more in your outward beauty or your eternal beauty? Let’s reflect on what matters most!

When beauty is mentioned, it’s often associated with the outward appearance of a person, but the Bible reminds us that charm can be deceiving, and physical beauty will fade. What truly lasts is a heart that reveres God. The fear of the Lord—our deep awe, respect, and love for Him—is what makes us truly beautiful. Proverbs 31:30 says, “Charm is deceitful, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised.”

A woman who fears the Lord carries a beauty that doesn’t age, doesn’t fade, and isn’t dependent on trends. Her beauty is rooted in wisdom, kindness, and a spirit that reflects God’s glory.

Reflect: Consider how your reverence for God shapes your attitude and actions. How can

you honor God more in your daily life?
