In John 13:12-17, Jesus humbled Himself to wash His disciples’ feet, a job usually reserved for the lowest servant. It was uncomfortable, messy, and even shocking to those watching. Yet, Jesus did it to teach us that true service requires humility, love, and a willingness to put others before ourselves.

If you were in that moment, what would have been your biggest struggle?

1️⃣ Pride – I’d struggle with lowering myself to serve in such a humble way.

2️⃣ Disgust – Touching dirty feet? I don’t know if I could do it.

3️⃣ Embarrassment – Serving like that feels too uncomfortable or awkward.

4️⃣ Judgment – Some people don’t deserve that level of service.

5️⃣ Resistance – I’d feel unworthy of Jesus serving me, like Peter did.
